Rob PikeとBruce Ellisの実験にMark V.Shaneyがある。これはネットニュースに存在した架空のユーザーで、他人がポストしたテキストを単にマルコフ連鎖アルゴリズムで再生成するだけのものだった。

マルコフ連鎖なので変なテキストになることもあるのだけど、@robpike.ioのポストによると、そんなシンプルなものでさえ人間はこれが実在する人物だと誤った理解をしていたらしい。
